This book is about process. It shows what happens between the first idea and the finished thing. That middle space matters a lot to me. It is where assumptions get tested, plans break, work gets reshaped, and real learning happens.

People often only see polished outcomes. What interests me just as much is the path.

I do not believe the quality of a build is determined only by the final result. A lot is revealed by the process. How do you handle uncertainty? How do you react when reality disagrees with your plan?

Why Process Matters

First, I tend to learn by doing. I like to get systems moving and then refine through interaction with reality. Second, I care about iteration. Third, I often work under constraints.

What My Build Logs Show

This book shows that I am not afraid of unfinishedness. I am willing to expose the middle of the process because I know that is where much of the real work lives.
